Human Rights in the World’s Largest Democracy: A Fireside Chat

Dive deep into the state of human rights and democracy in India with a unique, facilitated discussion at The Hague Humanity Hub, this Just Peace Day. This event will bring together visitors, activists from NGOs based in The Hague and academics with extensive knowledge of India’s civic space to explore topics often overlooked despite India’s size and global significance. There will also be time to network with speakers and other participants over snacks and drinks afterwards! Come learn about topics like the rights of religious and sexual minorities, the shrinking civic space, and restrictions on press freedom in India and network with experts from our MigraVoice network (among others)! This event takes place on Just Peace Day 2024 – 22 September at 13.00-15.30 CET at the Humanity Hub.
